Le Cheval Blanc Hotel Plancoet specialises in accommodating Antique hunters in groups of eight. Based in the town of Plancoet we are well positioned for antique hunters to explore the vast amount of French Antique shops, Brocanteurs, Depot Vents & any Flea Markets that may be on during your stay.

We are open all year round which means you can go antique hunting in any season.

There will be an English/french speaking professional antique dealer on hand to help with your communication & price negotiations. With you we plan each day and take you to all the best antique outlets. They are located in the country side and in the big towns like St. Malo, Rennes, St. Brieuc, Dinard and Dinan. We can also visit a couple of venues in Normandy. Travelling between antique dealers in Brittany allows for wonderful sight seeing

In France only objects of 100 years old or more, may be called Antiques. Brocante covers the items under 100 years.
A Depot Vent is a shop/warehouse where people can take their items for sale. The owner of the Depot Vent puts the items out for sale & charges the seller a percentage of any sales.

Whether you’re looking for something specific or hoping to make a great find, our antique hunting breaks take in the best of Brittany’s antique shops and markets. Ideal for bargain hunters and expert collectors alike. There will be an English/french speaking professional antique dealer on hand to help with your communication & price negotiations. For those large items purchased we offer advice on how to transport them home. And, no getting lost on route either as we arrange your transport and include a driver.

Cost of Getting Here

Arrival to and departure from Le Cheval Blanc is at your own expense. Only the collection service from St. Malo Ferry, Dinard Airport and Lamballe train station can be included in the offer.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory.

We work with groups of eight due to transportation constraints and the group can be made up of singles (2 only) twins and doubles.

Guide and Negotiator in support of your Antique Hunting Holiday

Lesley will join you to help with evaluation and advise on items that interest you. Lesley is a very experienced antique dealer and fluent French speaker.

Full Board Accommodation

This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. For dinner we take you out to nearby restaurants so you can experience some of the great local cuisine. We book the restaurants for you.

Transport and Driver

The package includes transport and driver and can include a collection service from St. Malo ferry, Dinard airport and Lamballe train (TGV) station. There is an adittional charge for fuel used but you only pay the pump price.
